MIMR: It’s great to have you on the blog, what’s the latest with the band?
SE: Aside from helping old people carry their shopping home, saving cats stuck in trees, we have just recorded a new ep at the king’s arms and we are buzzing to release it. We’ve got plenty of gigs lined up over the next couple of months. You can find the dates on our Facebook page.
MIMR: How best would you describe your music and was it clear for the start up of the band what direction your music would take?
SE: We’ve had people compare our music to many different bands over the last year. We were recently described us as Mancunian acid punk. It wasn’t clear from the start, we are just making noise together and seeing what comes out!
SE: Organised chaos. And for billy to snap a string or two…
MIMR: With the festival season about to start, what would be your fantasy festival line up if you could choose and why?
SE: We want to have Sleep as the opening band to melt everybody’s faces and wake everybody up from their hangovers. King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizzard for the pure psych carnage, plus they have some proper chilled songs in between where you can recover from getting thrown about. A band called citizen for the mix of head banging energy and mellow tunes. And Khruanghbin to make you feel like you’ve scranned a bunch of sarpa salsa fish for breakfast! (Look them up)…
Abba to headline!!
