MIMR Review: Queasy ‘Build A Wall’

Establishing themselves on the Manchester music scene through their energetic live shows are manchester 5 piece funk rockers Queasy and they return to the blog with the release of their latest single ‘Build A Wall’ released tomorrow (Nov 17th)

Taken from the much anticpated EP ‘Promised Land’ the track is politically charged and a real insight into how the misuse and abuse of power is such a burning concern for many people in society today.

Spitting lyrics are delivered with great gusto and it really hammers home the message of the track, a eye-opener to what is really happening out in the real world. Crashing beats and some outlandish riffs are layed down to great effect too only adding to the powerful message which is being preached.

Now…where’s my protest sign, let’s all go and start a revolution!

Queasy have a bunch of live dates over the next few months including a support slot with the much hyped Sleeptalking on Nov 22nd @ The Castle, not to be missed people!
