Have MIMR got news for you

In a brand new feature on the blog, MIMR will bring you the latest news from some of our favourite bands as they embark on their exciting plans for 2017!
Manchester indie favourites Horsebeach return with the most anticipated releases of the year, their 3rd album ‘Beauty & Sadness’ out March 17th. In a recently released teaser video on YouTube, Lead Singer Ryan appears in a blissful state, mirroring the music which the band have brilliantly produced on their previous 2 albums. You can catch the 1st live outing of some of the new album when they play at Soup Kitchen on Jan 29th.

One of MIMR favourite, explosive acts of 2016 were blistering-rock duo The Hyena Kill and 2017 already looks to follow the same thrilling journey with the release of new single ‘Tongue Tied’. Taken from last year’s brutal ‘Atomised’ record and released 27th Jan, Steve and Lorna look set to cause some more chaos with their thrill a second live shows and it won’t be long till you get your next chance to experience it again.

Their biggest headline show to date will happen April 30th at Manchester Academy 3 and MIMR recommends you grab your ticket while you have the chance!

The return of london Alt-Rock trio Happyness brings joy all over, a new album titled ‘Write In’ will be released through Moshi Moshi Records April 7th and a full UK and Ireland tour comes in the same month. New single ‘Falling Down’is a soothing sound with irresistable guitars making you instantly hooked.

A more thoughtful and inventive progression has been undertaken from their brilliant 2014 debut ‘Weird Little Birthday and MIMR looks forward to their Manchester show in April, which will sure to be featured on the blog too!

Last up today 21 year singer/songwriter Cal Ruddy has been chosen to represent Liverpool at the San Diego Beatles Fair, USA in March as well as a small tour including a show in Las Vegas and he needs your help.

The liverpudlian singer appeared in MIMR best of 2015 list recently with the excellent EP ‘Communication’ becoming a blog favourite. The Go Fund Me appeal is to raise £5000 for the the trip and MIMR recommends you dip into your pocket to make this dream become reality. Good luck Cal!
