In another Band Chat in the lead up to this year’s ACP Festival in Manchester i spoke to the hard-hitting threesome making waves everywhere they go, the fantastic Simmer
MIMR: Fantastic to have a new band on the blog. Welcome and tell us all about the band and what you’ve been up to?
Simmer: Hey man, yeah thanks for getting in touch. We’re a 3 piece punk band from Cheshire and we’ve just finished recording our debut album that will be released via Dog Knights Productions early next year, and we cannot wait.
MIMR: Whats are looking forward to the most about ACP Festival?
Simmer: They’re just a lot of really good local bands involved this year. To name a few, we’re really looking to seeing Crows-an-Wra, Doctrines, hindsights and Delta Sleep.
MIMR: Whats been your most memorable gig you’ve played as a band?
Simmer: Our most memorable gig would have to be when we played at the Old Blue last on record store day. Loads of people turned up and we were really scared but it went quite well, I think.
MIMR: Been a pleasure having you on the blog, how would you describe your live show to any new listeners at the festival?
Simmer: We’re relatively loud and get on with it. We break up our songs instead of talking about the weather.
They play Night and Day Cafe, Sunday, 16.30
